Award Redemption Singapore First class wait list

    I used miles to book Singapore first class from MEL to SFO and was put on the wait list, Is there a way to know what the chances of actually getting the seats and if it becomes available to they automatically book or advise me to confirm it and pay TIA.

    There is no way of knowing the chances but they do notify you. However, sometimes there can be a lag between the space becoming open and the notification going out so I would recommend checking regularly to make sure you don't miss any. Some people have had luck checking on their waitlist on the phone and having reps send "chasers" to revenue management to enquire about opening up space. YMMV.
