Ben and all,Firstly thanks Ben for you great newsletter!
Ok over time we have accumulated piobts with Malaysian,Finnair and Asia Miles. We have tens of thousands in each and additionally about equivalent of 250,000 pionts in Westpac Bank Altitude account which can be moved to
MH or Asia miles for instance.
We are presently using Qatar in Business class for our travels.
Question is ,is it possible to use the pionts from these multi sources towards award and upgrade in the one request. If so how is it achieved. Thanks

Unfortunately, you can't combine miles across different airline programs. To upgrade a ticket using miles, airline you want to use miles from has to be the airline issuing the ticket, even if youre traveling on another airline. Furthermore, not all tickets can be upgraded and using miles from one airline to upgrade travel on another is tough with some restrictions. Award travel would be easier.

You may want to find award availability first, then transfer your Westpac miles to MH or AsiaMiles to book your ticket. It'd be good to focus crediting your miles into one program.

Though you fly QR, their program isnt that great. Depending on where you are and what perks you're looking for with elite status, you may want to credit the QR flights to a different program, like American, British Airways or Cathay
