90 minute LAX connection - will I make it?

    Hey guys,

I am flying on a Aeroplan reward ticket YVR-LAX-TPE, and I have a connection in LAX (arriving terminal 6 on AC and going to TPE on BR in Terminal B).

I only have 90 minutes to make this connection - this is under the MCT on Aeroplan's system but the agent somehow got it to book. My question is do I have to recheck my bags and do you think I can make this connection? I read that YVR has pre-clearance so not sure how much that helps as well.

I think that's okay. I had a similar connection at LAX from T6 to T4 and had time to visit the lounge. Terminal B isnt that much further than T4, and it's connected airside.

You will clear US customs at YVR so upon landing at LAX, you're a domestic passenger. No additional security. It's just a lot of walking. I dont think you have to recheck bags.

The MCT for a domestic to international flight at LAX is 90 minutes, so you're good!

The agent might have been reading the MCT wrong (or thinking that it was international-to-international, which as David mentions isn't the case) -- they wouldn't have been able to book it if it wasn't a legal connection.
